Hi everyone. I'm Shep, a newsagent by day and keen punter on the weekend. For the past few months I've been putting my selections for Saturday Australian horse racing meetings on twitter. However as you may be aware it's very hard to mention anything more than the horses names in 140 characters. It was suggested to me by one of my punting pals to start a page here so here I am.
I'll be putting my selections for the 3 metropolitan meetings on here each Saturday and hopefully the reasoning behind why I've gone that way. If you find my selections helpful then please feel free to point your friends in the direction of The Silk.
